2020 Tokyo Olympics kick-starts on Friday: Nigeria has it's first ever gymnast
The postponed 2020 Tokyo Olympics kickstarts on Friday with a grand opening ceremony held in the Tokyo Olympic stadium on Friday night.
unlike other Olympics, it will be the first Olympics without spectators. Fans are not permitted in Japanese stadiums. it will be known as the first Olympics without spectators.
Uche Eke (24) becomes the first gymnast to represent Nigeria at the Olympic games. Nigeria has a total number of 60 athletes to represent her in basketball, rowing, swimming. table tennis, canoe sprint, athletics, badminton, artistic gymnastics, wrestling, and taekwondo. Nigeria men football team didn't qualify for the 2020 Olympics
Meanwhile, India had 19 of its athletes represent the country in the event's opening ceremony on Friday.
